School Bus Training Course Online

Our School Bus Endorsement ELDT Course (Entry Level Driver Training) provides the federally mandated theory (classroom) training required to obtain a School Bus endorsement on your CDL. Our ELDT courses are approved in all 50 states.

 After you complete our School Bus Endorsement ELDT training course, you can then take the ELDT behind-the-wheel (BTW) training from an approved training provider.  If you need help finding a BTW training provider, just let us know, and we can help you find one. 

A driver is required to have a Class B CDL or Class A CDL with both the “P” and “S” endorsements to transport pre-primary, primary, or secondary school students from home to school, from school to home, or to and from school sponsored events in a school bus.

Only a Class B CDL with a “P” endorsement is required for drivers who are delivering school buses from the manufacturer, for mechanics and other drivers operating empty school buses, and for drivers transporting students and/or adults to and from events that are not sponsored by the school.
