School Bus Training Course Online

Our Passenger Endorsement ELDT Course (Entry Level Driver Training) provides the federally mandated theory (classroom) training required to obtain a Hazmat endorsement on your CDL. Our ELDT courses are approved in all 50 states.

 After you complete our Passenger Endorsement ELDT training course, you can then take the ELDT behind-the-wheel (BTW) training from an approved training provider.  If you need help finding a BTW training provider, just let us know, and we can help you find one. 

A driver is required to have a Class B CDL with both the “P” and “S” endorsements to transport pre-primary, primary, or secondary school students from home to school, from school to home, or to and from school sponsored events in a school bus.

Only a Class B CDL with a “P” endorsement is required for drivers who are delivering school buses from the manufacturer, for mechanics and other drivers operating empty school buses, and for drivers transporting students and/or adults to and from events that are not sponsored by the school.
